I was an honour and a pleasure to get to know Phyllis Tickle through her work as Religion Editor for Publisher’s Weekly. When I wrote  The New Monastic I knew that Phyllis would get what I was on about and understand the postmodern voice of the book’s narrative. The New Monastic dramatizes the forces moving people out of inherited structures into new ecclesial territory. Phyllis did get it. She loved it & endorsed it!
