Taking a Stand – for the First Time

A paper recently published in the Journal of Geology has suggested that in the prehistoric past a pair of supernovae ionized Earth’s atmosphere so powerfully that continual lightning-storms burned down all the trees in which our ancestors lived, forcing them to adapt to bipedal life. “ESCAPING FROM EDEN” considers what other forces might have taken our prehistoric proto-human ancestors and set us in a new direction – on two feet!
